Repeat victory for Dublin City Marathon athletes
Dublin City Marathon saw a repeat of last year's results in both the men's and women's races for first place, with the Russian pair of Aleksey Sokolova and Alina Ivanova triumphant once again.
The event - in its 28th year - attracted a field of almost 11,000 competitors from across the world.
Organisers say the field is the strongest that has ever been seen on the capital's streets.
Motorists are being warned to expect serious traffic delays until lunchtime with restrictions in place in Merrion Square, Nassau Street and Stephen's Green.
