Ecclestone issues Silverstone warning

Formula One supremo Bernie Ecclestone can “quite easily” envisage Lewis Hamilton becoming world champion tonight but admits he may have no home race at Silverstone in a few years’ time.

The British Grand Prix has long been in doubt with F1 rights holder Ecclestone and the British Racing Drivers’ Club at loggerheads about the state of the Northamptonshire facility.
