Ireland has won its first gold medal at the Special Olympics in China.

Ireland has won its first gold medal at the Special Olympics in China.

Mayo athlete Gary Diamond won the medal in Bocce, a sport similar to bowls.

Ruth Gribbon from Dundalk picked up a bronze medal in the same event.
