Sunderland boss Roy Keane was unable to name the same team for the third successive game after losing Nyron Nosworthy to a knee injury.

The Irishman, who celebrated his 50th match in charge with the short trip to Middlesbrough, replaced the defender with Greg Halford, while there was a seat on the bench for the first time for Ian Harte.
