Hamilton has close escape

World championship leader Lewis Hamilton nearly made a disastrous start to his Italian Grand Prix at Monza.

Hamilton, five points clear in the drivers’ standings, was slow away from second on the grid once the five red lights disappeared to signal the beginning of the 53-lap race.
