Alonso in pole position for Italian Grand Prix

McLaren wiped the floor with Ferrari on their home turf in qualifying, with Fernando Alonso edging out team-mate Lewis Hamilton to take pole for tomorrow’s Italian Grand Prix.

It was the perfect riposte from Alonso given all the rumours currently circulating around the reigning world champion with regard to the spy scandal.
