Albers axed by Spyker

Formula One team Spyker have axed Dutch driver Christijan Albers, blaming “financial difficulties” for the decision.

Albers was involved in drama at the French Grand Prix at the start of the month, when he came in for a routine stop on lap 30, but pulled away too quickly, dragging the entire fuel hose out of the refuelling rig.
