Basketball camps look to nurture stars
The 2007 Basketball Ireland Regional Camps are due to get underway in what will be the Organisations biggest programme of Summer Camps yet.
Over 1,200 budding basketball will travel to camps nationwide to learn from the best coaches and basketball experts in Ireland.
With a further 600 also travelling to the ever-popular Dungarvan Camp in Waterford throughout June and July, it looks like basketball fever will grip the nation this summer.
This summer’s Dungarvan Camp booked out two months ago but places are still available for the regional camps.
The regional camps will feature courses for children from the ages of 6 to 18 and are being organised by the basketball Ireland regional development officers.
