Irish interest in the Blue Square UK Open Darts Championship in Bolton came to an end in the fifth round last night.

Ulsterman Brendan Dolan lost to Dennis Priestley while Owen Caffrey of Tallanstown was beaten by Colin Monk.

Jack MaGowan had earlier been defeated 11-1 in round four by the reigning champion Raymond van Barneveld.
