Heidfeld hopes for new BMW deal

Nick Heidfeld is hopeful of a future with BMW Sauber beyond this season – even if boss Mario Theissen is reluctant to confirm any appointment.

Heidfeld is currently enjoying his best start to a season in his eighth year in Formula One, finishing fourth in each of the three opening races for fifth place in the drivers’ standings.
