Team Ireland's Lyons to start 18th at Chinese A1 GP

Team Ireland's Richard Lyons will start 18th for tomorrow's Chinese A1 Grand Prix with a best time of one minute 36-point-8 seconds after today's qualifying session.

Britain's Robbie Kerr is on pole with Jonny Reid of New Zealand second.

Germany's Nico Hulkenburg was fifth and is expected to win the championship this weekend as he has a 27-point lead.
