An Irishman has won the annual North Pole marathon in temperatures of -25 degrees Celsius.

Thomas Maguire, from Belcoo in Co Fermanagh, completed the 26.2-mile race in a record three hours and 36 minutes, seven minutes ahead of his nearest competitor.
