Route announced for inaugural Rally Ireland

The basic route for November's much-anticipated Rally Ireland has been announced.

Stormont will hold a special stage on the opening Thursday of the event, with Friday's stages taking place in Sligo, Leitrim and Roscommon.

On Saturday, the race will focus on Fermanagh and Tyrone, while the closing Sunday sees action taking place in Tyrone, Donegal and Sligo.
