Fleming ton sinks Bangladesh
New Zealand all-rounder Hamish Marshall hailed captain Stephen Fleming after his quickfire ton inspired his side to a nine-wicket win over Bangladesh.
Fleming struck 102 not out at more than a run a ball as the Black Caps romped home after less than 30 overs to join Australia at the top of the Super Eight table.
Marshall – who scored 50 not out himself and shared a 134-run partnership with his skipper – told Sky Sports 1: “It was nice to get involved and strike a partnership with Flem and get some runs.
“It was a matter of getting a partnership together and going from there.
“We put our foot down and Flem hit a few out of the ground, which was nice.”
