The Professional Darts Corporation have announced the 2008 Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship will be held at the Alexandra Palace in north London rather than the Circus Tavern.
The Purfleet venue has hosted the event for the last 14 years.
The PDC have also revealed prize money will be increased to £1m (€1.5m) over the next three years.
