Irish team facing DNA tests in Woolmer murder probe

The Irish cricket team may have to supply DNA tests to the Jamaican police as part of the investigation into the murder of Pakistan coach Bob Woolmer earlier this month.

The police are seeking to test everyone in the hotel at the time Mr Woolmer was strangled, including the Irish team.

They are also checking CCTV footage from the hotel and are examining the 58-year-old's computer for any clues that might establish a motive for the killings.

Meanwhile, detectives have denied media reports that suspects in the murder have been identified, including three fans who were "close" to the Pakistan team.
