Dunne retains European title with third-round stoppage
Ireland's Bernard Dunne has retained his European super-bantamweight title with a resounding win over Kazakhstan's Yersin Jailauov last night.
The fight was stopped in the third round shortly after the Dubliner knocked his opponent to the canvas in a front of a full house at the Point.
The result was Dunne's 23rd straight win of his professional career.
He is now expected to go on to fight unbeaten Spaniard Kiko Martinez, the mandatory challenger.
