Police await Woolmer report amid mafia murder trial claims

Detectives are waiting today for a pathologist’s report on the death of Pakistan cricket coach Bob Woolmer amid claims he was murdered by “match-fixing mafia”.

Police revealed on Tuesday that they were treating the former England batsman’s death in Jamaica at the weekend as “suspicious” but stopped short of suggesting that he had been murdered.
