Cragg through to 3000m final

Defending champion Alistair Cragg has eased through to the 3000 metres final at the 2007 European Indoor Athletics Championships in Birmingham today.

Cragg looked well in control as he finished third in his morning heat, clocking a time of 7 minutes, 53.18 seconds behind Austria's Gunther Weidlinger and race winner Jesus Espana of Spain, who timed 7:52.50.
