BDO claim no knowledge of joint-tournament with PDC

The organisers of the original Lakeside World Darts Championship have said that they know nothing about a new tournament involving their players.

Stars from both the BDO and rival PDC are reportedly due to compete in the Grand Slam of Darts, which would see players from both sides of the sport's divide competing against each other for a top prize of €90,000.
