Judge to play Higginson in Welsh Open third round
Dubliner Michael Judge will face Andrew Higginson in the third round of the Welsh Open today.
He beat Barry Hawkins 5-2 late last night.
Ronnie O'Sullivan is also through to the last sixteen of the Welsh Open in Newport after a comfortable five-one win over Ian McCulloch.
O'Sullivan will continue his bid for a third Welsh Open title in four years against Mark Selby, the surprise second-round conqueror of Matthew Stevens.
Shaun Murphy is in record-breaking form at the Welsh Open after whitewashing Jamie Cope 5-0 to secure his place in the last 16.
The 2005 world champion became the first player in the 31-year history of world ranking tournament snooker to compile four consecutive centuries in a best-of-nine-frames contest.
