Doherty to face Ebdon in Malta Cup quarter-final

Ken Doherty is through to the third round of the Malta Cup.

He comfortably beat Englishman Andrew Higginson 5-2 last night.

He will now play Peter Ebdon in the last eight.

Ebdon was a 5-2 winner over Stephen Maguire last night.
