McGowan to face Taylor at World Darts Championship

Irish number one Mick McGowan is set to face defending champion Phil 'The Power' Taylor in the second round of the World Darts Championship in Purfleet.

McGowan progressed in the competition last night with a comfortable 3-1 win against Matt Clark.

He will now face Taylor on St Stephen's Day, when he will be hoping to emulate the rate defeat he inflicted on the Englishman in Holland two months ago.
