Rocket fails to ignite

Ricky Waldon refused to let Ronnie O’Sullivan have it all his own way as the second round of the Maplin UK Championship got under way in York.

The 24-year-old from Flintshire finished all square at 4-4 with the three-time winner of the event and two-time world champion after the first session at the Barbican Centre.
