Doherty in action in Snooker Grand Prix knockout stages

Ireland's Ken Doherty is in action against Joe Perry in the knockout stages of the Snooker Grand Prix in Aberdeen today.

The Dubliner booked his place in the last 16 earlier this week after he finished second in his group during the round-robin stage.

His good friend Fergal O'Brien, however, failed to progress yesterday, as did seven-times world champion Stephen Hendry.

Elsewhere today, favourite Ronnie O'Sullivan takes on David Gray, while Neil Robertson is up against Andrew Norman.
