Award named in Hunter's honour

The Snooker Writers’ Association have paid tribute to Paul Hunter by re-naming its Newcomer of the Year award in his honour.

The Snooker Writers’ Association have paid tribute to Paul Hunter by re-naming its Newcomer of the Year award in his honour.

Hunter, who lost his battle against cancer last week at the age of 27, won the award in 1998 which is currently sponsored by his management company Wheels In Motion.
