Win for Walker

Chris Walker powered to victory ahead of his Rizla Suzuki team-mate Cal Crutchlow in the annual non-championship Race of the Year at Mallory Park.

The Nottingham rider is hoping to return from five years in World Superbikes to compete in next year's British Championship, and Walker was given the opportunity of a one-off ride with the team to prove himself.

"I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that after that I get the chance to ride the bike again," said Walker as he claimed the trophy for a third time in his career, crossing the line some eight seconds clear of Crutchlow.
