Calzaghe retains world super middleweight titles

Joe Calzaghe has retained his WBO and IBF world super middleweight titles but it was only after a rugged points victory over Australia-based Cameroonian, Sakio Bika.

Calzaghe was never able to repeat the fantastic form he showed in his last fight against Jeff Lacey.

However, the Welshman wasn't happy after the final bell.

"A win's a win," Calzaghe said. "But of course I'm disappointed. I wanted to put on a spectacle. He was a dirty fighter. He went in quite a lot with the head. I just couldn't get off. I wasn't 100% tonight and it showed."
