Fernando Alonso seized the lead of the Monaco Grand Prix from pole position with a perfect getaway today.
Alonso was only given pole position whenstewards stripped Michael Schumacher of his qualifying times after the Ferrari driver deliberately stopped his car to scupper his rivals.
