Ireland share points as match abandoned

Ireland and Surrey shared the points at Stormont after rain forced their C&G Trophy tie to be abandoned with just 15 overs on the board.

In overcast conditions, play finally got under way at midday and Surrey’s James Benning provided a brief highlight crashing a quick-fire half-century before more rain intervened stopping the opener in his tracks.
