Gomez trainer slams fix slur

Michael Gomez’s trainer Billy Graham has reacted angrily to allegations of impropriety surrounding his fighter’s Irish title defeat on Saturday night.

The Boxing Union of Ireland has withheld the purses of Gomez and his opponent Peter McDonagh due to the manner of the fifth round stoppage in Dublin.
