Basketball star O'Neal becomes police officer

Professional basketball player Shaquille O’Neal is now a Miami Beach reserve police officer.

O’Neal was sworn in yesterday, with the Miami Heat centre choosing to skip a public event in favour of a quiet, no-frills ceremony.
