Gomez issues Arthur challenge

Former WBU super-featherweight champion Michael Gomez is willing to put down £100,000 (€147,000) of his own money to land a mouth-watering rematch with Edinburgh fighter Alex Arthur.

Arthur will put his British, Commonwealth and European titles on the line against fellow Scot Ricky Burns at his home city’s Meadowbank Sports Centre on February 18.
