Cork rivals clash in National Cup

First up in basketball this weekend is National Cup action when UCC Demons take on local rivals Neptune in a backyard brawl at the Mardyke Arena in Cork on Friday night to determine which team advances through the knockout stages.

Neptune have been playing better basketball after a very shaky start to this year's campaign, and hardly resemble the panel that suffered a 48-point drubbing to their neighbours in October.
