Irish girls win bronze in relay
Ireland are celebrating their first ever women's world relay medal after the women's 4x100 relay team scooped bronze at the World University Games in Izmir.
Derval O’Rourke, Anna Boyle, Ailis McSweeney and Emily Maher finished behind gold-medallists Russia, and second-placed France.
It is Ireland's fifth medal at the Games, after a silver for Ailis McSweeney in the 100metres final, and bronze for Paul Hession in the 200m, O'Rourke in the 100 hurdles, and Jolene Byrne in the 5000m.
