Ireland wins third medal in Turkey

Sprinter Paul Hession claimed Ireland's third medal at the 2005 World University Games medal in Izmir, Turkey tonight, battling hard for bronze in the 200 metres final.

The Athenry flyer, a silver medallist at the 2003 Games in Korea, edged out Germany's Till Helmke by just one-hundredth of a season for third place in 21.02 seconds.
