Alonso aims for peak fitness

Formula One world championship leader Fernando Alonso knows he will need to be in peak physical shape for the searingly hot conditions at the Turkish Grand Prix.

F1 comes to Istanbul for the first time this weekend and the Spaniard, who leads the drivers’ standings by 26 points from Kimi Raikkonen, is relishing the challenge of competing in temperatures around 40 degrees Celsius.
