Toccacelo gets Minardi chance

Minardi have appointed Italian Enrico Toccacelo as their official test driver starting at next week’s Turkish Grand Prix.

Toccacelo has risen through the motor racing formulae and was second in the final standings in last season’s F3000 International Championship.

“This is a great opportunity for me, although it has all come together so quickly, I still can’t quite believe it,” said Toccacelo.
