McGettigan disappoints at Helsinki World Championships

Rosin McGettigan has failed to qualify for the final of the women's 3000m steeplechase on the opening morning of the World Athletics Championships in Helsinki.

The Wicklow athlete came ninth in her heat, in a time of 9 minutes 56-point-31 seconds - 24 seconds behind heat winner Yelena Zadorozhnaya.
