Montoya wins British GP

Juan Pablo Montoya won his first race of the season as Jenson Button’s hopes of a home podium were dashed in the British Grand Prix at Silverstone today.

McLaren driver Montoya, whose previous win was in Brazil last year, made a flying start to take an early lead and he never let that advantage slip, even under pressure from world championship leader Fernando Alonso.
