Stevens reaches Crucible final
Matthew Stevens reached the final of the World Snooker Championship when he defeated Ian McCulloch at the Crucible this evening.
Stevens came out a 17-14 winner against his plucky opponent.
In the 27th frame Stevens looked set for a brilliant maximum but he broke down on the blue and had to settle for a 129.
Stevens will play Shaun Murphy in the final. 22-year-old Murphy overpowered Peter Ebdon earlier today.
