Doherty makes China Open semi-finals

Ken Doherty's return to form in China has continued as has booked his place in the quarter finals of the China Open today.

The Dubliner beat England’s Steven Lee 5-3 in Beijing this afternoon. Doherty will now take on World number four Paul Hunter for a place in the semi-final.

Hunter made it through to the last eight with a 5-3 victory over Jimmy White.
