Webber to warm up Sydney Harbour Bridge

Mark Webber will warm up for the first grand prix of the season by blasting his Williams Formula One car across the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

Webber will take part in a demonstration run across the Australian landmark on February 27, exactly a week before the new Formula One season kicks off.

The Australian said: “It’s sure to be an incredible experience driving the Williams-BMW Formula One car across one of the world’s most famous and spectacular landmarks.

“The Sydney Harbour Bridge is so instantly recognisable as Australia, so I can’t think of a better appetiser for the following weekend’s Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne.

“For me it’s even more special because it’s my home country and I’m very proud that we are able to stage such a spectacle to promote Formula One, not just in Australia but around the world.”
