Sweet revenge for Doherty

Irishman Ken Doherty avenged his defeat to Joe Swail at last season’s Embassy World Championship to book his place in the third round of the Welsh Open tonight.

The Dubliner lost 10-5 to Swail at the Crucible but produced a solid display to claim a 5-2 victory.
