Jackie Stewart has insisted the British Grand Prix is secure for the foreseeable future despite Ray Bellm’s departure as chairman of the British Racing Drivers’ Club.

Bellm played a role in negotiating an extended contract for Silverstone to host the British Grand Prix for the next five years, despite initial disagreements with Formula One commercial rights holder Bernie Ecclestone.
