Williams announce new sponsor

Williams have announced a new sponsorship deal with watchmaker Oris.

The company linked up with Williams two years ago as an official supplier but have opted to upgrade their sponsorship and the Oris logo will appear on both cars next season.

Team owner Sir Frank Williams said: “I am delighted that Oris consider their original investment to have worked so well, and their increased commitment to the programme is a validation of the value Formula One offers.

“I hope the increased investment will continue to offer measurable business benefits to Oris, and I thank them for their continued support of the team.”

Williams are set to unveil another major sponsor at a press conference in London tomorrow, widely believed to be the Royal Bank of Scotland group.
