Tigers face their Demons in National Cup

The draw for the semi-finals of basketball's men's National Cup took place today and pits reigning cup holders Mardyke UCC Demons against SuperLeague champions and Southern Conference table toppers, Abrakebabra Tigers.

The second semi final sees Dublin side Roma St Vincent's take on surprise package Gleneagle Lakers, who have made light of their disastrous League form to make it to the Finals weekend of the most prestigious competition in Irish basketball.

The National Cup Finals weekend takes place in the ESB Arena from January 28 to January 30 and features the men's and women's semi-finals and finals, and the finals of the junior men's and junior women's cup competitions.

The men's semi finals will be played on the afternoon of Saturday January 29, and the draw is as follows:
