Stephen Lee ensured that none of the top eight seeds will reach the quarter-finals of an extraordinary Travis Perkins UK Championship in York.

The world number nine beat Peter Ebdon, who is one place above him in the list, 9-8 and is now the highest-ranked competitor left among the 12 players remaining in the draw.
