The Boston Red Sox completed a stunning comeback to win the seven-game American League Championship Series 4-3 with a 10-3 victory over New York Yankees last night.

Johnny Damon smashed two home runs as the Red Sox finally broke the Yankees’ post-season hold over their fiercest rivals to claim a place in the World Series.
