Craig blitz sees SuperLeague champions overcome UCC

The Mardyke Arena saw an enthralling contest as Mardyke UCC Demons took on defending champions Abrakebara Tigers in the Men’s SuperLeague.

Tigers led the game throughout and were up by 63 points to 54 going into the final quarter.

The home side fought back to be two points ahead with less than three and a half minutes remaining.

A number of turnovers and missed opportunities cost Demons dearly however, as they saw Tigers’ American player/coach Chris Craig score a vital three pointer, followed by two points from the free throw line.

The game finished with Tigers winning 84 - 81, giving them two wins from two, and still dreaming of retaining that SuperLeague title.
